Home Office Confirms Reduced Tier 2 Health Worker Visa Costs

< 1 min read

With no indication as to whether or not the alteration will be permanent, the Home Office has confirmed a significant reduction in Tier 2 Health Worker visa costs. Effective as of August 4, the reduction has slashed hundreds of pounds off the usual costs of immigration and nationality fees for applications, which stand to save individual applicants up to £464 on their Home Office fees.

The new costs for the visa as confirmed by the Home Office are as follows:

  • Tier 2 – Shortage Occupation – Health and Care Visa – Under 3 Years 2
    • Was £464, Now £232 – a saving of £232
  • Tier 2 – Shortage Occupation – Health and Care Visa – Over 3 Years 2
    • Was £928, Now £464 – a saving of £464

Again, there is currently no specific information available as to how long the offer will be available for, or whether the Home Office intends to keep honouring the discount long-term.

It is therefore strongly advisable for anyone interested in taking advantage of the price cut to do so as soon as possible, in order to avoid missing out.
